How often do you re-read stories?
25 votes
Never
Only by accident -- Sometimes I re-read a story I've forgotten about only to realize part-way through that I've read it before.
Rarely -- I've only re-read a few stories
Sometimes -- I re-read a selection of favorite stories once in a while.
Occasionally -- Something like 1 in 20 of the stories I read are re-read stories
Frequently -- I tend to re-read stories I like. At least 1 in 10 of the stories I read are re-reads
Often -- I love to re-read my favorite stories. At least 1 in 5 of the stories I read are re-reads.

- Definitely true. Men are visual and women are not. Men want pictures. Women want stories.
- It's an exaggeration. Men are somewhat more visual, but some women like pictures and some men like stories
- The stereotype is completely false. Some men prefer stories and some women prefer pictures. There's no specific pattern.
- The stereotype has it wrong. Women like pictures more than men.
- I don't really know. Just show me the results

I reread my stories after a long break. The distance of time divorces you from the nuances that you held as you wrote. So, rereading your own stories can give you a better sense of what your audience may have experienced.
Occasionally, I will reread other erotic stories that I found really hot. I like to analyze what makes it hot for me.
I don't reread books. There are too many books unread to spend time rereading something.
On the other hand, I hope that I may write stuff that people would find interesting enough to reread perhaps.
