Utopiastories inactive

Since Utopiastories was where I first started to post stories ages ago (as well as a number of other authors who have since became deviants), I still stop by the site once in a while to check for comments and look for any interesting new stories. I still like the way the site is organized more than most and feel like I can keep up with it, so to speak. There are faults like no updates, posting delays, limited social media features, etc. but I haven't abandoned it for dA completely. Well, now I'm thinking about it. I posted an update to The Family Estate back on June 28th that has yet to appear (I've confirmed with the web master that the submission is in the queue). I've only seen a couple new stories posted. The site is essentially going inactive.

I know John, who runs it, mostly does it for his own pleasure as a hobby and the ads basically just cover the bills so I don't blame him entirely. He's working on paid sites now and thin on time. I get it. But, I still have to think about what it means to me. I'm not sure I'm going to post any new stories there. I'll probably still post new chapters to my existing stories there for people who might not have found me over on dA.

UPDATE: Chapter 4 of the Family Estate was just posted on Utopia. I guess it's not completely dead. Still, over two and a half months has to be a new record wait for a post.
